Barry Northfield's Retirement

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that after 46 years of dedicated service to the legal industry, Barry Northfield will retire from practising law, with his last day at RNG Lawyers being Thursday 2 May 2024.  

After gaining extensive property law experience in mid-size city legal firms, Barry began working with RNG Lawyers in 2003, became an Accredited Property Law Specialist in 2007 and a Partner of RNG Lawyers from 2010 to 2023.  As a well-respected member of the legal community, Barry became a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Property Law Specialisation Committee, contributing to the knowledge and skills of future property lawyers.

Throughout Barry’s time at RNG Lawyers, he has played a vital role in helping RNG Lawyers be the firm it is today while also delivering an exceptionally high standard of legal services to his clients. It has been a privilege to have Barry as a valued member of and mentor to the RNG team. He will be very much missed by both the staff and clients of the firm.

While Barry transitions into his well-deserved retirement, we want to assure you that RNG Lawyers are well equipped to seamlessly handle any existing or new matters. During this transition period, we also encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. We are fully committed to ensuring that the quality of service you receive continues without any interruption.
