Amanda is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law having successfully completed the course with the Law Institute of Victoria in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canberra, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and a Masters of Applied Family Law through the College of Law in Sydney. Amanda relocated from Canberra to Melbourne in 2018 and now works in the Family Law team at RNG Lawyers.

Amanda has been practicing exclusively in Family Law since January 2014. Amanda is passionate about providing care and sincerity to her client’s whilst guiding them through a complex and difficult time in their life. Amanda regularly appears in the Family Law Courts and is an effective advocate for clients. She has extensive experience in Parenting and Property matters and can also explore alternative dispute resolution options with clients. She regularly participates in mediation to assist client’s to obtain sustainable, cost effective and cooperative family law solutions.

Amanda is also passionate about the community and assisting those who have difficulty accessing legal services. During her time in Canberra, Amanda was a volunteer at the Night Time Legal Service and Women’s Legal Centre. She was also an active member of the ACT Law Society Family Law Committee and the ACT Law Society Young Lawyers Committee. She was the Co-Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria Young Lawyers Community Issues Committee for two consecutive years; 2018-2020. She is now a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Maintenance and Property Committee.
